Distinctive Aged Finish: A heavily distressed red base with rich black lacquer trim and gold accents. All wear is preserved as part of its authentic history.
Traditional Hand-Painted Artwork: The door panels feature classic Chinese ink-and-brush landscape scenes: a detailed mountain scene with a subtle red blossom accent on the left, and a serene bamboo grove on the right.
Cultural Characters: The upper drawers are decorated with legible traditional Chinese characters conveying good fortune and wealth: '福 祿 壽 喜' (Fu Lu Shou Xi - Fortune, Prosperity, Longevity, Happiness) and '和 氣 生 財' (He Qi Sheng Cai - Harmony brings wealth).
Quintessential example of Chinoiserie design. Inspired by the furniture design of the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). Red Lacquer Sideboard. Wood Chinoiserie Credenza.
