This is a cream color chocolate pot or teapot with a matte finish and what I believe to be hand … Read more This is a cream color chocolate pot or teapot with a matte finish and what I believe to be hand painted flowers trimmed in gold. The flowers are white, pink and pale purple with green leaves and a lot of gold trim. The pot is trimmed in gold with a gold painted spout and handles. It has a partial mark that I do not recognize. It has an imprinted Martial Redon MR mark-something else I’ve never seen. That mark, when printed, is dated 1891 to 1906.

The chocolate pot measures 5.00 inches across. It is 8.00 inches tall to the rim and 9.50 inches tall to the top of the handle.

The pot has no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. The inside is clean and stain free with no signs of use. There is some light gold loss on the raised piece under the spout, but there is no gold wear on the handles.

Both the front and back are shown as they are different. The lid is shown both from the top and inside and it has no damage. There is some blurring on the flowers from age and use and the flowers on the back are much sharper. See less
