The 18k yellow gold cable chain passes through Peretti's iconic sculpted Open Heart motif (10.9mm wide), from which a single freshwater cultured pearl drop (9.5 x 8mm) hangs on a short chain below, creating the classic lariat effect. The warm yellow gold and soft white pearl make for an effortlessly elegant combination. Chain measures 18.5 inches with a 2mm width. Recently polished to showroom condition with no scratches or dents.

Elsa Peretti's Open Heart is one of the most recognized jewelry motifs in the world, introduced for Tiffany & Co. in 1979 and still in production today. Its organic, asymmetric form — neither perfectly round nor geometrically precise — was a deliberate departure from conventional heart design, reflecting Peretti's belief that nature's imperfection is more beautiful than mathematical symmetry.
