This is one of those designs that’s all about function, but done in a very clean and thoughtful way. When it’s folded down, it’s surprisingly compact, and then it opens up into a full dining table just by lifting the leaves. Simple idea, but really well executed.

The beech frame keeps it light visually, and the whole piece has that airy feel Mathsson is known for. It doesn’t feel heavy even when fully extended, which makes it easy to use in different spaces.

Folded, it’s only about 9.1 inches deep, and when fully opened it can extend up to around 110.2 inches in length. Width is about 35.4 inches and height around 28.5 inches, so it works both as a compact table and a larger dining setup when needed.

What we like about it is how practical it is without feeling too strict or plain. It’s one of those pieces that adapts easily and still looks considered in both positions.
