This is one of those designs that feels right from every angle. The armrests are softly rounded and tapered, which is where the “Cigar” name comes from, and they give the chair a very relaxed and approachable look. Nothing sharp or heavy, just smooth lines all the way through.

The oak frame has that warm tone Wegner pieces are known for, with clean joinery and a light feel despite the solid construction. The chair has a slightly reclined back, and together with the stool it makes for a really comfortable setup, easy to sit in for longer periods.

The cushions are loose with spring cores, so they have a bit more support than standard foam. Upholstery is not original and done in a textile, but it works well with the frame and keeps the overall look neutral.

Chair width is about 26.8 inches, depth around 29.5 inches, and height approximately 29.5 inches. Seat height is about 15.5 inches, and armrest height around 21.7 inches. The ottoman measures roughly 23.2 by 18.5 inches, with a height of about 15.7 inches.

What we like about this set is the comfort. It’s a very easy chair to live with, and the stool makes a big difference in how relaxed it feels.
