Made with handwoven wool, its design is inspired by mid-century Swedish minimalist textile designs of the Rollakhan and Rya weaving traditions.

On the Design:

This new flat weave reinvents vintage Scandinavian Kilim in ways that both honor the Swedish minimalist aesthetic and modernize its construction. Our use of undyed natural yarns, for example, lends a subtle striae with more of a sense of movement and depth—a subtle nod to Rollakan techniques in a modern fashion.

This particular rug enjoys geometric patterns in tones of beige, ivory, green, blue, gold and pink tones with intricate variations and accents from the aforementioned weaving technique.
