Factory, turin, 1930s origin turin period 1930s brand manifattura ceramica torinese tre a.a.a. (turin, active from the 1920s to the 1960s) was one of the leading manufacturers of artistic ceramics and furnishings in 20th-century piedmont. Founded in turin with the tre a.a.a. Brand (which stands for “artistica artigianale alta artigianalità” or similar variants), it specialized in the production of vases, plates, lamps, decorative figures and gift items in majolica and glazed ceramic. The factory's style was characterised by floral, stylised or geometric decorations, often with bright and brilliant glazes typical of the advanced art deco and liberty taste. In the 1930s and 1940s it achieved good regional fame, also collaborating with designers and artists from turin. Production gradually ceased in the 1960s. Today, tre a.a.a. Ceramics are sought after by collectors of 20th-century italian ceramics, especially for the quality of the glazes and their typically turin-style appeal.
