Louis XV Transition style marquetry display cabinet.
Light wood, elegant and understated, opening with a glazed door on the front.
The upper section features a large framed glass panel, offering a clear view of the interior, which is fitted with two adjustable glass shelves. The interior uprights are equipped with racks, allowing the shelves to be adjusted to suit different heights.
The frieze is adorned with subtle marquetry elements, while the gently curved base rests on cabriole legs, lending a touch of lightness to the overall design. The cabinet is topped with a marble slab, adding elegance and refinement.
The bronze or brass keyhole escutcheons and ornaments delicately accentuate the cabinet's lines.
French work from the late 19th or early 20th century.
