Stunning Antique Figured Walnut True Partners desk. Duplicate front and back.
One of the rarest desks we have ever had!! Beautiful, and all original Burled Walnut!
And...the Ultimate Railroad connection!
Came from the original B&O Railroad headquarters. CUSTOM MADE! One of 3 that exist. It was made for, and used by the Law Department. When taken over by CSX the desks were moved by a very aware, and special employee, who saved them! Eventually they were released by the company to her, and now to you. (The other 2 are not on the market, and may never be)
They cannot make something like this today...where could you find the wood, with such large matching burls?
The incredible top....the incredible sides...the hardware...all original!
This stunning desk has nine opening drawers with original handles, on each side of the desk, for a total of 18 DRAWERS!
It is considered a vintage 2 pedestal desk, raised on Georgian style feet.
In exceptional condition. Heavy! The Real Deal...1st quality.
Highly functional Measures 31.5" high, 66" wide and 48" deep.
