The composition balances open space with more concentrated areas of mark-making, creating a quiet sense of structure and depth.

Subtle neutrals and muted blue green tones shift across the surface, suggesting organic forms without resolving into a fixed image. Areas of diffusion are set against more defined passages, producing a measured tension between openness and density.

The vertical format makes this work especially well suited for entryways, narrow wall spaces, or as part of a gallery wall. "Float No. 12" pairs naturally with other works in the Float Series, allowing for flexible configurations as a diptych or larger grouping.
