A sculptural 1970s decorative object featuring two stylized shorebirds mounted on a richly textured burl wood base. The combination of natural material and minimal form gives it a strong organic modern presence with a subtle coastal influence.
The birds are formed from a pale matte composite and raised on slender black metal legs, creating a light, balanced silhouette against the weight of the base. The burl wood shows beautiful natural knots, grain movement, and variation, making each angle interesting.

Condition is very good vintage. Surface marks to the birds consistent with age and material. The wood base has natural cracking and variation inherent to burl wood.
