Add a touch of classic Chinoiserie charm to your interior with this vintage English-style tole tea caddy lamp. Produced in 1980, this piece features a traditional cylindrical canister base crafted in the style of 19th-century tea merchant tins.
The lamp is finished in a warm, aged ochre/yellow ground with elegant black and gold hand-painted accents. The central focal point is a charming hand-painted vignette depicting a colonial-era gentleman standing before a coastal harbor scene, framed by intricate scrolling filigree. The top of the caddy is marked with a bold "6" medallion and a Greek key border on the neck, characteristic of classic regency-inspired decor.
