Everything mini is better :) This is a small set, the teacup holds 2 oz of tea and the sauces measures 5in across. This is one of the highly collectable ‘Orchard’ designs by American Beauty. They were hand-crafted in occupied Japan between 1945-1952. Made of quality Japanese porcelain and hand painted with a gorgeous grouping of juicy fruits you would find on an orchard. Including plums, grapes, peaches, blackberries and background flora & vines. The artwork is very detailed and well done. The plate is signed on the bottom with the stamp, by the artist in initials, which makes me think it’s someone special! See less
