Built from twisted wire, mesh, and hand-finished mixed media over black painted bases, the figures have a wonderfully animated silhouette and richly weathered surface.

One figure carries a handbag and wears a broad hat with skirt-like mesh detail; the other stands beside a tall vessel or column, equally dramatic and expressive in form. Together, they create a striking conversation piece — sculptural, eccentric, and deeply decorative.

The undersides are stamped Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; one reads Made by Yon. Serraty, the other Made by C. Serraty.

Approximate dimensions: 8" H each

Condition: vintage condition with age-appropriate wear, including paint loss, surface rubbing, and irregularities inherent to the handmade construction. These qualities contribute to their sculptural charm and authenticity. See less
