Johanna Bogadóttir (known as Jóhanna Boga), a respected Icelandic visual artist, painter and graphic designer, born in 1944.

Color lithography or mixed technique on paper. The work shows the artist's characteristic style - expressive, at times dark and surreal.

Her works often combine figuration with abstraction, are saturated with strong emotions, symbolism and intense colors (visible in
red and black are her frequent palette in the painting).
