"black is beautiful" - a wonderful vintage lounge chair by charles & ray eames from one of the first "all black" generations.
this design classic was created in 1956 at the request of billy wilder, who wanted a comfortable yet sophisticated and modern lounge chair.
- the leather is still in beautiful condition - superficial signs of age on the armrests and headrest are documented in the photos.
- the chair swivels beautifully and is incredibly comfortable.
- there are markings on both the ottoman and the chair (see photos).
- chair dimensions: h 84 x w 84 x d 92 cm
- ottoman dimensions: h 42 x w 63 x d 56 cm this piece has an attribution mark,
