Ceiling lamp giving direct and indirect light, chromium-plated stem, lacquered ceiling fixing. Adjustable reflector in lacquered aluminium. Manufactured by Oluce, Italy. The visionary and futuristic designer Joe Colombo designed the Colombo lamp in 1970, on the wave of the rapid diffusion of the halogen light. The design is in fact one of the first domestic lamps to use the new type of bulb. The design of the Colombo lamp – base, chrome stem and adjustable reflector – responds to the demands for clean shapes and technological functionality that go hand in hand with the concept and design of this great designer. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
