Captured in Rome in 1955, this intimate portrait by Slim Aarons features a young Ursula Andress relaxing in a hammock. While the image is often associated with her legendary role as Honey Ryder, it was actually taken seven years prior to the 1962 filming of Dr. No. It perfectly captures the effortless magnetism of the rising Swiss actress before she achieved international fame. This highly collectible piece is a limited first edition (numbered 1/150 in the lower-left margin) and bears the official Slim Aarons estate-stamped signature in the lower-right margin.

Slim Aarons (1916–2006) was a highly influential American photographer celebrated for his intimate portraits of the global elite and celebrities in their exclusive playgrounds.

Following a career as a combat photographer, he dedicated his life to documenting "attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places".

His entire life's work and legendary archive were acquired by Mark Getty, forming the cornerstone of the prestigious Getty Images collection.
