This very unique … Read more Elegant and refined pair of mid-century italian wall sconces in brass, cream enameled metal and curved glass. This very unique set was produced in italy during the 1950s and is attributed to stilnovo. Fully original and in amazing condition, the brass has a warm golden natural patina that has not been polished to preserve its charm and historical value. The sconces feature a metal flower-shaped socket cover enameled in a soft cream color, with beautiful solid brass accents. The design is completed by a distinctive curved glass diffuser on the front, shaped like a slender sail. The effect when lit is simply spectacular, with a warm glow, as the glass softly filters the light and creates an elegant atmospheric effect. Wired and tested, compatible with us and eu/uk standards, each sconce uses a standard e14 light bulb. A highly decorative and unique pair, ideal for elevating a mid-century, modern or contemporary interior with a touch of timeless italian design elegance.
