Ronan Bouroullec, with his poetic universe of shapes and influences, designs a piece of furniture that acquires its sculptural energy from the pairing of materials and tone-on-tone colours. The collection is proposed with two different-shaped bases; one three-lobed for the round tabletops, the other in an infinity shape for the oval tables, and a large round one with three legs. Soft, sinuous lines, reduced thickness and natural colours characterise this design table by Ronan Bouroullec. The round and oval tops are reminiscent of the organic shapes of the plant world and are in poetic harmony with the structure – sculpted and tapered toward the top. The choice of materials respects the philosophy of the design: back-lacquered glass or lacquered MDF for the tabletop and rigid plant-based polyurethane with a percentage of polyols derived from biological sources for the base, which is tri-lobed in shape for the round tops and an infinity shape for the oval tables.
