This piece is a wonderful example of early 20th century Japanese export ware, showcasing the transition between traditional craftsmanship and modern design. The underside features authentic stilt marks, confirming it's traditional manufacturing method.
In very good condition. There is one very minor flea bite nick on the outer rim, (barely noticeable, see photos) and some light surface wear consistent with age. The base features original stilt marks from the kiln and a clear "Made in Japan" stamp. See less
