Featuring a classic medallion design with a refined Herati geometric pattern, this antique rug showcases a captivating interplay of rich red and abrash French blue field colors—hallmarks of Bidjar’s renowned aesthetic.

At the heart of the composition lies a navy medallion, adorned with intricate geometric motifs in ivory, green, pink, and brown. Delicate “Ram Horn” extensions in baby blue add an eye-catching detail, symbolizing strength and protection in Persian design. Surrounding the medallion, the Herati pattern is beautifully executed in burgundy with accents in soft pinks, yellows, blues, greens, and cream, creating a harmonious and balanced composition.

The corner spandrels, also in abrash French blue, echo the rug’s refined symmetry, while the border—rendered in deep French blue and red—features traditional floral and vine elements in jewel tones of blue, pink, green, and yellow.
