Hand-knotted in the late 1800s, the rug features an allover garden motif—a hallmark of classical Agra weaving inspired by the royal Mughal courts. The luminous saffron yellow field is adorned with delicately rendered birds, branches, and floral elements in French blue, rose pink, deep red, sage green, ivory, and warm brown.

The composition evokes the serene beauty of a Persian-style “Chahar Bagh” (four-part garden), symbolizing paradise on earth.
