This vintage Turkish Oushak gallery rug (circa mid-20th century) features a unique blend of colors and an intricately beautiful design. The central medallions consist of a vertical line of geometric and floral elements, surrounded by complementary figures in the surrounding field and border. The various shades of navy blue, red, mint green, faint goldenrod yellow, and burnt orange blend beautifully with the bright red background.
