A renaissance-style carved oak fireplace mirror, dating from the late 19th century.
this superb mirror is distinguished by its richly ornamented frame, characteristic of the neo-renaissance style. The upper section is crowned with a wide, projecting cornice, carved with gadrooned friezes and repeating motifs, flanked by lion heads holding brass rings, lending strength and character to the whole.
the side panels are decorated with fluting and geometric patterns, embellished with high-relief sculpted figures of female figures in sheaths, inspired by classical baths. This decoration gives the mirror a remarkable architectural and sculptural presence.
the generously sized glass offers a rich and luminous reflection, ideal for visually enlarging a space. The molded base ensures stability and elegance.
