Traveling Man Treasures is selling this elaborate pair of decorative French Neoclassical Revival patinated bronze and marble candelabra urns, likely originating from France around the 1880s. Made from bronze with a finely-aged patina and mounted on black marble bases, these urns have earned a noticeable amount of wear and tear over the last 100+ years, but they are no less beautiful to behold.
These urns are consistent with the Neoclassical Revival style, characterized by classical motifs such as palmettes, laurel scrolls, and female figures, typical of the late 19th century style.
While they resemble vases or urns, this pair feature candlestick crests at the top, allowing them to function as candle holders if desired, but they just as well serve beautifully as mantelpiece decoration.
