This is a classic early 20th century Vuitton form, built for travel during the golden age of luxury transport. This particular model is rare to ever see at market.

The trunk is monogrammed “V.B.N.” on both sides, adding a strong sense of personal history and presence.

Craftsmanship throughout is exquisite and unmistakably Vuitton. Every detail reinforces its authenticity and quality: each nail is stamped “Louis Vuitton,” the locks and clasps are engraved “LV,” the wooden slats beneath are marked with the Paris and London addresses, and the exterior leather trim is embossed with LV. Louis Vuitton began as a young apprentice in Paris after traveling there on foot in the 1830s, quickly establishing himself as a skilled box-maker for elite clientele, including Empress Eugénie.
