entirely hand-painted in the traditional Dalarna kurbits style, circa
1960s. Both candelabras share the same sculpted silhouette — a
scrolled, arched form rising to five candle cups — while the painted
floral compositions differ between the two, as was typical of
hand-decorated Swedish folk pieces produced individually rather than
mass-manufactured.

Design details:
- Five-arm form with turned wood candle cups finished in gold paint
to imitate gilt brass (an authentic folk technique of the period)
- Hand-painted kurbits florals in orange, green, and gold over a
black-stained ground
- One candelabra features a central six-petal flower, the other a
stylized tulip-and-scroll motif
- All-wood construction, including the candle cups, on stepped
rectangular bases
