It was made using a combination of solid hardwoods, decorative veneers, burled wood, leather inlays and dates back to the the mid to late 20th century. Manufactured in Holland, Michigan, at the Sligh Furniture Company, this Executive Kidney-Shaped Pedestal Desk has a large surface area that is always within reach due to the unique curvature of the desk. The leather inlay on top is original and has gold embossed tooling. The drawers are adorned with a burled wood veneer, constructed using dovetail joints and are accented with decorative swan neck brass hardware. The desk is kidney shaped and has built in bookshelves. There are 8 drawers including 1 file drawer with ball bearing slides.
