A 'Dona Ana Southwest Desert Cabin View' oil painting on board by well known Southwest artist, Connie Blake 1946-2026. It depicts a weathered, derelict cabin set against a rugged desert mountain range in New Mexico. The painting captures a sense of quiet isolation and the slow reclamation of man-made structures by the harsh western environment... as was Life in Dona Ana, historically one of the most important villages in New Mexico since the 1840's. Signed, lower left, her card verso. Sight: 12" x 9"
Blake often exhibited in the 70's and 80's Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. At this internationally renowned event her work reached many buyers.
