They are 3.25" by 3.25" wide and deep and stand at .5" tall. They were used for tea parties when salt was scarse and each person was given their own salt dish to use called a "condiment dish". They are trimmed with 22k gold beaded rim. The design on this set of 8 is the Harp's design and it is pressed into the glass. I purchased these from a person in Treasure Valley in Idaho. See less
