"Shamanes II"
This sculptural Ojo de Dios reinterprets a traditional Huichol symbol of protection through a contemporary, architectural form. Handwoven yarn radiates outward in concentric diamonds, shifting from deep black to vibrant tones of yellow, orange, red, and violet—evoking warmth, energy, and spiritual intensity. Suspended atop a carved wooden base accented with acrylic paint, the piece creates a dialogue between grounding and elevation, earth and spirit.
The geometric precision of the weaving contrasts with the organic presence of the wood, suggesting both stability and transformation. As a protective offering, Shamanes II channels ancestral symbolism while asserting a bold, modern identity—inviting viewers to reflect on protection not as stillness, but as an active, radiant force.
Certificate of Authenticity comes with the artwork.
