Single owner - purchased by my parents, I am quite sure in 1970. It's a beautiful and versatile table lamp in a classic pattern similar to the traditional blue/white porcelain.. I had this in my living room with a restoration hardware grey/blue lampshade - the original was a very traditional dark pleated brown - and it looked beautiful and an interesting combo, to give you an idea how to customize.

The lamp works just fine, refer to photo. IMO, if I were using this regularly just due to the age it takes more effort to turn the knob on than you would be accustomed to and older lamps ideally are rewired, that said - I used the light on this only on occasion and it was more decorative.

Beautiful condition. There is a small area - I am not sure if this would come of if I scrubbed, but I wasn't sure so I was very gentle - as you should be with hand painted porcelain - there is very faint area on the top (looks like light dirt) which you can't really see and would not see at all with a shade - refer to close-up.
