The abrashed coral-red field is filled with small geometric floral motifs, latch-hook forms, and angular tribal ornamentation. Deep navy medallions with ivory outlines create a strong contrast, while corner spandrels echo the stepped geometry of the center motifs. The crisp drawing and bold palette are characteristic of village weaving traditions from Hamedan. Wool pile on wool foundation. Circa early 20th century. See less
