This is a museum quality tea set, perfect for the Modernism fan!
Designed by Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius introduced in 1969 and reissued in 1984 by Rosenthal, made in Germany. One of the many designs by TAC (The Architects Collaborative) one of the most notable firms in post-war modernism which created many successful projects in a broad range of designs.
We have a tea set made of shiny white glaze porcelain: large teapot with infuser and lid, sugar bowl with lid, cream/milk jug, and 8 (eight) cups and saucers.
The pot is about 5 inches tall and about 9 inches long (spout opening to handle). The cups are 1 7/8 inches tall and 4 inches diameter, saucers are 6 1/4 inches diameter. There are 22 pieces included in all. Stamped in green on the bottoms of vessels and plates "Rosenthal Studio Line Germany."
This set has never been used and is in mint condition. I will pack with great care and double box for extra protection. My home is smoke free.
