The composition combines geometric structure with delicate, curvilinear vine and floral elements throughout the field. The medallion and surrounding areas are rendered in red and dark navy tones, with smaller motifs and fillers creating a dense, balanced layout. The palette includes red, navy, ivory, soft blue, and muted green tones. Wool pile on cotton foundation. Circa early 20th century. See less
