Set of 4 teak chairs with black leather upholstered seat and back. Danish production, 1960s.
A set of four Danish chairs from the 1960s, an expression of essential and well-balanced modernist design. The teak frame, characterized by exposed joints and clean proportions, reflects the quality of Scandinavian craftsmanship of the period. The rigorous lines and balance between solids and voids recall the design language of designers such as Børge Mogensen and Erik Buch, as well as the production of Danish manufacturers such as Korup and Vamo. The padded seat and back, upholstered in black leather, create an elegant textural contrast with the warmth of the wood.
