Set of 6 teak chairs with padded seats upholstered in checked fabric. Made by Karl Andersson & Söner, 1960s.
A set of six chairs produced by Karl Andersson & Söner in the 1960s, an expression of understated and well-proportioned Scandinavian design. The teak frame is defined by clean lines, with a slightly curved backrest and exposed hardware, while the slender legs with black tips introduce a graphic detail typical of Northern European production of the period. The overall design reflects a functional and everyday language, closely resembling the work of Børge Mogensen. Padded seats upholstered in checked fabric. Good condition. May show signs of aging.
