An exceptionally beautiful antique lacquered chinoiserie chair. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1920 period.
It is of superb quality and is perfect for use as a desk chair, dressing table chair or accent chair around the home. The black lacquered finish is beautifully decorated with traditional oriental imagery. The pierced back rest has a particularly lovely design.
The condition is excellent for its age, with only some very minor wear here and there. The seat is upholstered in a lovely red silk fabric which has been cleaned and is in good condition, it could be easily re-covered if desired.
