The design is composed of finely drawn geometric and stylized floral motifs, including branching tree-like elements, rosettes, and small symbolic figures arranged in a balanced, symmetrical layout. The corners are defined by ivory spandrels with angular detailing, creating contrast against the darker field. The rug is framed by a dark main border with repeating floral motifs, flanked by multiple guard borders. The palette includes deep burgundy, navy, ivory, and soft accent tones of blue and rust. Wool pile on cotton foundation. Circa early 20th century. See less
