The composition is filled with stylized floral and botanical motifs arranged in a balanced, symmetrical layout, with angular vinery and geometric floral elements characteristic of village weaving. The corners are articulated with ivory spandrels containing bold, scrolling motifs. The rug is framed by a wide main border with repeating floral forms, flanked by multiple guard borders. The palette includes navy, brick red, ivory, and soft blue accents. Wool pile on cotton foundation. Circa early-20th century. See less
