The striking finely hand painted "Mulatto" colored Black Lawn Jockey figure with its patine'd Brass hardware atop a Creamy colored solid Alabaster base forms a stunning profile that creates a profound visual statement, all expertly crafted and assembled. Crowned with a contemporary Off-White Linen-like lamp shade which adds a sophisticated tone overall while casting the ideal ambient light upon the finely detailed form. This uber rare Lawn Jockey sculpture is much larger than the typical ones most often found on the market and has a unique skin-tone and hefty Alabaster base which I have never seen in my decades of hunting...elevated by its sublime original condition and it is safe to say you will never see one like this again! This rarely seen large sized Black Americana Jockey lamp is in exceptional original condition, completely intact and fully functional. Just very light signs of usage wear and age with no obvious damage or repair issues aside from some very tiny paint nicks/touch ups to the figure and overall ideal patina wear to the Brass finishes, and with a few small edge nicks to the hefty Alabaster base. Original 3-way socket and power cord have been inspected, tested and appear to be clean, safe and functional. The Off-White linen-like shade is a new replacement and essentially perfect. DIMENSIONS: The lamp is of a grand size with general dimensions of 35" tall with a width of 5.5" to the base and 9" to the figure, the shade is 16" wide X 12" high...the actual shade delivered may differ ever so slightly in fabric and details due to suppliers availability. Bulb is NOT included.
