The upper … Read more A poetic Swedish ceiling pendant from the 1970s, combining two classical Nordic hand-craft traditions in a single fixture. The upper crown is tailored in finely pleated cream cotton that radiates out in a sunburst, while the drum body is wrapped in a band of ivory broderie anglaise — scalloped eyelet embroidery in the traditional Scandinavian hålsöm style — finished with a skirt of hand-looped bullion fringe.
The lamp casts a soft, diffused glow; when lit, the pierced embroidery throws lacework shadows onto the surrounding walls, adding a quiet romance to the room.
