This is a white Round Elite Limgoes covered casserole dish in an unknown pattern. The dish has a pattern of swags of pink flowers and blue trim with gold handles. The Elite Limoges mark is dated 1870 to 1880 and the Bawo Dotter mark is dated from the 1870 to the early 1900s. This casserole dish is in exceptional shape given its age and it has no chips or gold wear. Replacments calls this pattern BWD34 and It is marked as shown.
The caserole dish measures 7.75 inches wide and is 9.50 inches from handle to handle. It is 2.50 inches tall to the rim. The dish is 4.25 inches tall to the top of the handle.
Again, given the markings and the age of those markings, the dish looks almost new. The white is shiny, the gold trim is shiny and intact with no wear and there are no chips, cracks, or any kind of damage. The inside is clean and looks almost new. I don’t know how these one hundred plus year old dishes survived in such great condition.
