The design is composed of repeating diamond motifs, hooked elements, and small stylized floral forms arranged in a continuous grid. The field is framed by a wide border with angular, tribal motifs in red, green, ivory, and ochre tones, accompanied by guard borders. The palette is rich and saturated, with strong contrast between the dark ground and colorful patterning. Wool pile on cotton foundation. Circa mid-20th century. See less
