Unique large four-armed steel candlestick by Roger Bonduel, handmade in the 1960s for a modernist chapel in Belgium. The piece consists of four separate elements connected to a central point, allowing variations in arrangement. Bonduel was closely associated with Belgian modernist architect Paul Felix and glass artist Michel Martens, and is known for his integration of sculptural metalwork within modernist architectural contexts.
Its large scale gives it a strong presence, making it particularly suited for an outdoor setting, while also working well indoors. One-of-a-kind object in very good condition. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
