This is a relief depicting a stylized female nude, blending Art Deco aesthetics with 1970s style.
The figure is captured in profile, with an emphasis on the curved, flowing lines of her hair, which blend with the movement of her body. The pose is dynamic and sinuous, typical of "Streamline" decorations that celebrated movement and speed.
It is made of resin with a bronze patina. This was an extremely common technique in the 1970s for naval decorations or luxury interiors: it offered the aesthetic appeal and prestige of metal, but with a lighter weight (essential for ship wall structures) and lower production costs than solid bronze casting.
