This file cabinet is designed in a rare three drawer format which makes it considerably more desirable than traditional two or four drawer cabinets. The height of this cabinet makes it the perfect companion for a standard office desk and it fits well in most interior spaces. Each drawer functions properly with the assistance of wooden tracks that are far superior to the later metal and graphite slides which are prone to sticking and misalignment issues. The entire case is built with an exceptional grade of tiger oak lumber and the cabinet is finished in a beautiful golden oak color that has aged wonderfully taking on a rich and vibrant surface patina.

The sides are constructed with "cope and stick" joinery which has prevented any degradation typical of most surviving antique file cabinets. Frame and panel sides have allowed the cabinet to remain free of damage antique cabinets often experience brought on by seasonal changes where wooden joints must be allowed to slightly expand and contract. This superiority in design and construction is critical in ensuring that the cabinet will remain in good order for many years to come. Each drawer is fitted with the original brass hardware and complementing file rods. Overall the cabinet measures 17 1/2" wide x 27 1/4" deep (28" total including the brass handles) x 42" tall.
