A vibrant and iconic light fixture, perfect for brightening up your spaces with the unmistakable energy of vintage design. This beautifully crafted table lamp, in true Space Age style, combines pure geometry with a striking pop color, making it a magnificent furnishing accessory for modern desks, bookcases, or bedside tables.
Subject and Style: The aesthetic plays on a playful and harmonious contrast of shapes: the cylindrical base features a bold, overlapping disc pattern, upon which a simple, clean, perfectly spherical diffuser rests softly.
Material and Finish: The solid base is crafted from expertly turned wood, enhanced by a distinctive, bright, glossy orange finish. Crowning the piece is a globe of fine white opal glass, ideal for diffusing a soft, even, and glare-free light.
Technical Details and Condition:
· Type: Space Age Table Lamp / Lampshade.
Materials: Varnished wood, polished opaline glass.
Period: 1970s.
Dimensions: Base diameter 12 cm. Glass globe diameter 11 cm. Total height 25 cm.
Condition: Excellent overall condition. The fine opaline glass globe is perfectly intact, brilliant, and completely free of chips or cracks. The wooden base is structurally intact and shows only a few normal, minor signs of aging on the paintwork, natural details that attest to its authenticity. The electrical system is original from the period, complete with switch and two-prong plug.
