this sofa is inspired by bocca, a red sofa in the shape of giant lips created by gufram in 1971, designed by studio 65.
the sofa was created as a tribute to salvador dalí, inspired by his famous 1935 painting, "the face of mae west," in which the woman's lips depict a small sofa. The bocca sofa immediately became a cult object, a symbol of beauty and a jewel of pop art.
